I spent thirty years in technology leadership — CIO, CISO, VP Engineering — mostly at growth-stage companies navigating inflection points. The problems were always different. The underlying challenge was almost always the same: getting people to do hard things together, under pressure, with incomplete information. I'm still thinking about how that works.
